duos, we present Countdown,
featuring Gil Thompson on
piano and Chris Angelino on
upright bass. Performing their
own interpretations of classic
jazz standards, the new Duo
brings the musical energy of the
established Gil Thompson Trio
to smaller and more intimate
settings. Already a regular in
several upscale restaurants,
Countdown is developing a
loyal following. The Duo boasts
great entertainment in a very
small footprint.

We are proud to present the new Gil Thompson Cuban Jazz
Duo. This dynamic partnership of Piano and Percussion
performs an authentic Cuban repertoire which includes a
wide range of Cuban styles, including Boleros, Gaujiras,
Mambos, and Cha-Cha's to name a few.  From classic
Cuban, to modern day Latin Jazz, there is something for all
lovers of Latin music, performed by veteran musicians and
aimed especially for intimate settings.
